First we crossed the river at the spectacular Johnson's Crossing bridge. It was a really cold day. There was ice on our tents in the morning and it never seemed to get very warm through the day.

We ate a windy lunch at Teslin Lake Marina (mostly eaten in the van). Then we went to the museum in Teslin where we viewed George Johnston's 1928 Chevy (the first car in the north country and the first Indian car) and some of Johnston's photos, together with a nice rendition of a trapper's cabin.

Morley River Lodge was our least favorite thus far (it was slimy),
but camping on the swift flowing Morely River wasn't bad.
We were shocked when a corps of Germans with 8 identical RV's all pulled
in at the direction of their whistle blowing drill sergeant. They sang German
drinking songs late into the night. Tim complained that 5 "frauleins"
checked him out in the shower. There were no pictures however.
